EMU (an acronym for Evaluation Mobility Usability) is the evaluation
arm of the Mobile Digital Commons Network. We provide a theoretical
base to the artistic and technical work being done by the MDCN
projects. EMU was created during the second iteration of the MDCN to
gather more detailed information on how the imagined user might
encounter and engage with mobile, wireless design projects.

We have conducted user integrated testing in four of the MDCN projects,
Sampling the Park, Tracklines, CitySpeak and the Haunting. We have
also prepared a set of resources from research methodologies to kinds
