Douglas MacLeod, CDRN




Douglas MacLeod is the Executive Director of the Canadian Design Research Network which is part of Canada's Networks of Centres of Excellence Program. He is a registered architect and a contributing editor to The Canadian Architect Magazine. For the past fifteen years, Douglas MacLeod has led innovative research projects across Canada such as the eduSourceCanada project (which built a pan-Canadian testbed network of digital content repositories); the Art & Virtual Environments Project (which investigated the cultural uses of virtual reality) at the Banff Centre for the Arts; and the 3DWeb project which looked at the role of the third dimension in online communications.
