System Resources Bar (Activities Menu)

  • System resources bar will be shown on the left side of all screens in the Activities Menu (see screenshot)
  • Bar should display, in graphical and textual form, the percentage of storage space remaining on the phone
  • Textual Display:
Display percentage used in numerical form (e.g. 55%) beneath the graphical percentage bar
  • Graphical Percentage Bar:
Display used storage space as the filled portion of the graphic bar, graduated in set amounts (e.g. 10%, 20%, 30%)

    Possible technical solutions:
    • display a different graphical bar for each percentage amount (e.g. 10.png for 10% used, 20.png for 20% used)
    • use one image to represent a segment of the bar (e.g. 10.png), and stack more or less segments onto the bar depending on the percentage of space used
  • System resource bar will automatically refresh each time it is shown
